About

Larissa Barlow has been working with metal since 2015, creating unique, pop-art chainmail pieces.

Taking the medium of chainmail from its original, functional form of battle armour, she has created metal fashions and large-scale wall pieces with a modern vision.

Twisting and linking metal in contemporary images and design allows the rebirth of ancient, utilitarian protection into stylish, avant-garde artwork.

Larissa Barlow is based in Banff, Alberta, Canada.
